Incorporated in year 2013, Mustek Engineering Limited is an indigenous Ghanaian company and a market leader in three main areas of operation; (i) Energy & Power (ii) Road Construction (iii) Rental of Equipment.
Under the Power and Energy section, Mustek Engineering supplied 17 aerial lifts and truck mounted cranes to the Electricity Company of Ghana procured from Altec Worldwide L.L.C U.S.A under the live-line project and about to partner with Altec Worldwide to set up a Service Centre of Excellence in Ghana (first of its kind in West Africa).
In addition Mustek Engineering is supplies Wood poles and LED lights under the rural electrification project with the Ministry of Power. Mustek also constructs power stations and supplies power transformers with the Electricity Company of Ghana.
Under the Construction and Rental section, Mustek constructs major roads across Ghana and also leases equipment such as Poker Vibrators, Pay Loaders, Low Loaders, Graders, Back Holes, Tipper Trucks and Water Tankers.
Managing Director
Michael is a result oriented leader with a proven record of achievements in marketing, administration and information system management with over a decade’s experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Science Degree (Minor) in Marketing from Marietta College, Ohio, USA. He is also a member of the Court of Governors, Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT; Advisor to the Telecom- Liberia and the Ghana Police Chief on Information Technology.
Group General Manager
Prior to joining the Company, Pamela worked as the Treasury Manager of AngloGold Ashanti in the Isle of Man. She brings to the team years of working experience in Financial and Corporate Management, Administration and Training Research. She drives the strategic and operational practices of the company and has attained several successes in this area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in Psychology and Economics. She further holds a Diploma in Management from Henley Management College, United Kingdom.
Human Resource & Administrative Manager
Doreen Ankumah has a combined total of over 19 years of rich work experience in Human Resources and Administrative Management. She is an associate member of IHRMP and has rich work experience from organisations such as Women’s World Banking, Federation of Association of Ghanaian Exporters, and Global Trade & Technology Network / International Executive Services Corps. In addition to her in-depth knowledge of the Human Resources function, Doreen has strong interpersonal relationship skills, with the ability to motivate, counsel and deliver excellent Human Resource and Administrative services, in line with organisational objectives.
Joseph has demonstrated his in-depth understanding of the technical operations of the company since 2005. His achievements with the company include the Installation of the bitumen plant of Mustek Bitumen in Prampram, Construction of Kwae Oil Storage Tank and Several civil works. He has over two decades of experience in the engineering sector and holds a Technician Certificate of City & Guilds and has attended several workshops and conferences on Engineering.
Salifu has been a Site Supervisor for various Construction Projects in his Industrial Attachment some of those were A. A. Construction Ltd at Wa, J.K. Dubie Construction Tumu. He was an Assistant Project Manager for Danib Construction Limited Accra during National Service Period. He was a Teacher, and taught both in Junior High and Senior High Schools.
He plans, organizes and manages the overall pothole patching and sealing projects. His responsibilities include design and blueprint reviews and analysis of projects, preparation of project documents, bidding, negotiations, sub-contractor selection, material purchasing, scheduling, project budget, pothole patching and sealing code compliance, project development, quality control, and certification.
His career plans are to pursue project management to develop his managerial acumen in the construction industry and to prepare models to ensure efficient and effective projects.
Mr. Sumani Salifu holds MSc Engineering Project Management from Coventry University UK & BEd Psychology and Education from University of Education, Winneba, Ghana
His ability to effectively manage teams in executing projects within set timelines stands tall in his achievements since he joined the company in 2007.
